Training Course Registration
Precision Shooting Club
‘Firearms Licence Training’ is held on most Club shoot days, starting about 10am. Check our Calendar for all available days before pre booking.
The Club can only issue your ‘PD314 Certificate of Training’ if you have valid Membership.
Therefore, to participate in any Training you must be a current Member (or join).
For AB1 you will require a minimum of 1 visit. For ABH1 or H1 you will require a minimum of 3 visits. Training sessions usually take from 1 to 3 hours.

New Firearms Licence A1 and B1 Training. Rimfire / Centrefire Rifle and Shotgun. This training course comprises of a Classroom safety and theory lesson and 2 x (or more if required) practical lessons - 1 x .22 rimfire rifle, 1 x centrefire rifle. The fee covers the cost of the ammunition and items that you use.
Firearms Licence H1 Training. All Handguns. This training course comprises of a minimum 2 x Classroom safety and theory lessons and the following 6 (or more if required) practical lessons - 2 x Handgun semi-auto .22 rimfire, 2 x Handgun semi-auto centrefire and 2 x Revolver centrefire. This requires a minimum of 3 Club visits to complete. The fee covers the cost of the ammunition and items that you use.
New Firearms Licence ABH1 Training. Rimfire / Centrefire Rifle, Shotgun and all Handguns. This training course comprises of a minimum 2 x Classroom safety and theory lessons and the following 8 (or more if required) practical lessons - 1 x .22 rimfire rifle, 1 x centrefire rifle, 2 x Handgun semi-auto .22 rimfire, 2 x Handgun semi-auto centrefire and 2 x Revolver centrefire. This requires a minimum of 3 Club visits to complete. The fee covers the cost of the ammunition and items that you use.
