To avoid delays please ensure that the information you enter on this form is complete and correct - no typos or wrong numbers.
Note - Clubs/individuals are only required to submit Club Chits for category C or H Club use. There is no requirement to submit chits for A or B category activities, unless you ONLY have Firearms Licence Category 1.
H1 applicants must have completed their mandatory 6 months probation and a minimum of 3 Club Handgun Match Events (1 per day) and logged them. This requires a minimum of 3 Club attendances.
The 6 month probationary period starts from the day that SAPOL issues your H1 Licence. DO NOT submit this application until after this time. Also DO NOT submit this application if you have not logged a minimum of 3 Handgun Events over 3 Club attendances.
Approvals for qualified Members are normally processed within 2 days.
