NEW Annual Membership Application for Rifle and Handgun Shooters
For Existing Firearms Licence Holders and New Firearms Licence Trainees
Does your Firearms Licence include Category H - Handgun or are you intending to use a Category H Firearm at SSAA Precision Shooting SA Inc? If so then kindly proceed with this application.
Under Section 74 of the Firearms Regulations 2017, to include Category H - Handgun with your membership, as a Shooting Club we are not able to grant an application for membership unless we obtain a ‘fit and proper person’ check, or you provide the following;
A current Firearms Licence.
Or an approval letter issued by the SAPOL Registrar to the applicant within the preceding 60 days.
And 2 references; (We recommend using this Character Reference Email Template)
And a criminal history report such as a National Police Certificate. We recommend using the online service Veritas Check to obtain your National Police Check via email.
If you don’t have Licence Category 1 (Shooting Club), after you join we will run you through an approved course at the Club to obtain it.
When completing the application form you may need to scan or photograph and upload your Firearms Licence or required Document.
